3 Way Links and Backlinks

Published on Friday, August 8th, 2008 | in the Website Optimization Tricks Category

It’s a fact that Google the big daddy of all search engines, loves links. Google infact bases a lot of it’s website requirements on how many websites link back to yours.

Google wants to rank your site highly, but you have to provide what Google is looking for.

Google can’t physically go out and check each and every website added to its index. So it uses a formula which you as a switched on website owner can benefit from.

Which is easier to say than do. But one thing that Google absolutely loves, is links and 1 way and 3 way links in particular are pure Gold.

So with all that said, what would be the fastest one thing I as a website owner could do right now, to improve my websites ranking on Google?

Easy! I would get as many quality websites linking back to mine website as I could. And I would not offer to link back to them.

The old and almost obsolete reciprocal links system worked extremely well 5 years ago. But, these days having someone link to you and in return you would link to them, is over. Google has closed down that system, knowing that if they based your indexing on how many links you had incoming and internal, the top 10 results for any search query, would be a spammers website. And we all know that they are full of nothing except Google Adsense ads and Viagra popup adverts.

These days Google is looking for sites that other website owners rate as authority websites. If a site is able to get backlinks and you didn’t have sites back to them, is seen by Google as an authority website and to reward you, they put you closer to the top of the results of a search query.

What is a 3 way link? Three way links are when 3 completely different websites pass links to each other. For example. Site a links to site b, site b links to site c and then site c links back to site a.

In each link scenario everyone gets a one way link. This can be set up in any field of interest, internet, photography, fishing, hunting, shopping, anyplace where articles or content would appear. Delivering relevant links from relevant content is the key. If you come across an opportunity like this simply send an email to the web site owner requesting a possible three way link exchange. Ask them to visit your site and read your article first before making a decision. If your site is laid out well and the article content has some quality a smart webmaster will jump at the chance.

So how do we go about setting up a 3 way link. 3 way links take an enormous amount of time to setup and you have to go back to the old way of asking another website owner to link to you and then them asking another to link back to you. It’s very hard to do and takes forever to setup.

But there is an easier way. Jonathan Leger is one of the smartest SEO specialists I know and I immediately open every email he sends me, knowing that It will be a gem of an idea or in this case a very powerful SEO tool.

Jonathan, has developed a system that will do all the hard work for you. All you have to do is add your site or sites to his 3way linking network. You can have up to 50 sites in his network. Sub domains are not allowed, as is adult sites and gambling sites.

Of course there is a fee for this service, but it’s worth every cent. However, for a website owner that only has one or two websites, the $47 per month may be a bit expensive. If you are the owner of a single website and you cannot justify the $47 per month price tags of Jonathans 3way linking network, I might be able to help you get in. You can become a part of the system by being in my network.

$10 per month sound more reasonable?

Okay, if you want to check out the 3 way link system yourself, go here. However, if the $47 per month is a bit expensive, send me an email and I will try and get you in my network. Here is my email link: Steve’s 3way Link Network

I joined late last year and to date, 48% of my traffic and income can be put down to joining this 3way linking network. My stats are up and so is my income. And really isn’t that what it’s all about?

Summary

Increasing your search engine ranking is best accomplished by improving your web site’s link popularity. This can be achieved by using your sites content as leverage in setting up one-way links via three way link exchanges. Each exchange takes a little time and a lot of thought but the end result will benefit both parties and seeing your efforts turn into a dramatic increase in traffic will be your reward.

    Hello Simon

The backlinks only stay if you keep the subscription. But anyone in their right mind wouldn’t cancel their subscription. I have 30 sites hooked up to 3waylnks and it’s worth every cent.
