If you are serious about knowing as much as possible about ranking on page #1 of Google, you really need to read my email!

It’s not often I say “I’m stumped”. But I am totally mystified how Search Engine Consultant Jerry West can come out of no where and write the best Google optimzation book I have ever written. Honestly, this ebook is fantastic and will soon become a must have Google book every savvy website owner will want to own.

Well, I have just read another chapter of Google Best Practice and this is pure GOLD. Easy to read and simple to implement. I hate saying it, but this ebook is miles better than my Google Mastermind. I hate saying it, but it is!

Google Best Practice Guide is an 177 page ebook so full of fantastic Google optimization tips and techniques. I’m thinking of totally re-writing Google Mastermind. I’m not kidding, Jerry West is a quiet achiever and until I read his ebook I had no idea who he was.ย  but I certainly do now.

I recommend that you have a gander at Google Best Practice. It really is that good and I wouldn’t be a good friend if I didn’t pass on this recommendation.

  1. Definitely sounds like a ‘must have’ guide. Noticed that Andy Jenkins & Michael Campbell had testimonials on the page which is impressive coming from these well known IM’s.

Jerry has also included Local Search in his book (which I have taken a keen learning for). This is a huge resource for all local businesses (and those helping to promote them). The potential for local businesses to promote themselves locally to get in front of local searchers is huge… but most are just missing out!

Unfortunately a lot who even have websites have not been properly SEO by their web designer and definitely not for local search.

Thanks for the Webmaster SEO Tools will be checking them out.

  2. As a designer myself, I come across other designers websites all the time that are beautiful to look at, but bloody useless as far as a money making machine for the website owner. These so called Web Designers develop sites that when looked at for the first time, look like they will do the job, but when you get into the source code, you see that these websites will never be found.

It’s a shame for the owners, but as an SEM myself, I love it when web designers forget that these beautiful websites need to be found. That’s when totally frustrated owners come to me and say “please, please help me”. And I do!

PS. Fellow designers, keep developing those beautiful websites, but do your clients a favour, come to Webseo and learn a bit about SEO.

  3. I’m one year into part time learning of SEO and this has been a great read. Some f it still goes over my head but now I know some of the pitfalls to avoid and some great ways to move our business forward. Thanks again Steve – all your recommendations have been great although I do not find the time to pursue them all

  4. i’m sure it’s a great book, but the book i’ll write will kick a.s ๐Ÿ™‚ now i wanna test some theories and maybe later this year or the next year i’ll write a book and launch a software that will rock the SEO market..
