There is a new search engine developed by my mentor and famous Search Engine Optimiser Jonathan leger that Google Hates! And why would Google hate this new search engine? Because, Jonathans new Search Winds search engine is powered by MSN Bing, Googles’ thorn in their side.
As a lot of you already know, I love nearly everything Jonathan leger does. I love what he does, because it always works.
Searchwinds.com is Jonathans new search engine and from what I can make out it’s going to take seo to a whole new level and heres why:
- Its p0wered by the enormous authority website Bing.
- You can add your own website and then your ranking is based on its popularity.
- You can add your own personal profile and add your primary website.
- People can vote on your website.
- Google loves crawling this site.
Google doesn’t really hate Searchwinds.com. I only used that title so that you would read my post haha. Google loves search winds and Jonathan will tell you if you ask him.
I have used search winds since last friday, after Jon told me about it. I added a new link to a new post. I didnt post it anywhere else apart from Jonathans new search engine. Within 3 hours that post was in Google and ranking at number 12 for “unemployed loans”. Today I think its at number 1 and 2 on Google Australia.

Great content on your blogs. I learned about them through Desktop Lightning. Except when I clicked on your links in the email they all added an extra http// that I had to manually remove before the page would display. Just thought you’d like to know.

How does Searchwinds actually weight users votes when choosing which results to show above another. For example, does voting on a particular result make any differece at all to what others see or does it only affect your own search results?
