How many links do I need to Rank in Google?

How many links does it take to get ranked #1 in Google?

There’s no easy way to answer this question but we’re going to do our best. Here’s the only way it can be answered – it depends 100% on the keyword. For a keyword that isn’t competitive at all, it might take 1. For a keyword that’s super competitive, it might take 100,000,000.

If you want to figure this out for any keyword, this is the process that I’d go through:

1. Search for the keyword in Google and save the top 4 sites that come up.

2. Go to Yahoo and do a link domain search on each of the top 4 websites(search for Yahoo will then list all of the pages that are linking to each URL.

I will personally Evaluate Your Site

I have many many subscribers to WebSeo and daily I am emailed by some of my subscribers asking how they can become friends with the Big 3 search engines. I try to help as many as I can but this is my business and while helping these people, it takes time away from my main job.

So, I have decided to help 10 subscribers. What I want to do is get 10 website owners to send me their website details, what they have done to help their sites and were they would like their sites to rank in Google.

Not a tall task. Go to my forums and add your request in the “Is My Website Google Friendly” forum.

What I need you to add to your request.

  1. Your website address.
  2. What the niche of your site is.
  3. How many visitors do you get monthly now.
  4. What you have already done to promote your website.
  5. 3 keyword phrases you would like your website to rank on with Google.

Now to be one of those 10 lucky subscribers you have to own your own domain and have ftp access. I will give them my feedback in the WebSeo Forums. So if your not a subscriber, take up this offer “Google 101” and when you confirm in the email we send you, you will be in the race.

Then, you go to our forums “Is My Website Google Friendly?” and leave all your details. I will select one website at a time from the submissions.

So, if your a subsciber already, go and submit your site. If you are not a subscriber yet go here and go through the process.

Good luck…
